Placing your loved ones in the care of others is an important decision that is never taken lightly. abcNC.com's search tool helps you make that decision an informed one. You now have the ability to know whether a potential care provider has a criminal history in North Carolina within a matter of seconds!

abcNC.com provides you with instant access to all criminal records of the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC). You simply enter as much information about the person that you have - First & Last Name, and Date of Birth are required at a minimum, along with your valid credit card number. You may additionally provide the Driver's License Number and the last 4 digits of the Social Security number as additional search criteria for increased results and accuracy. A list of cases matching the criteria will be shown, and you can select to view the details of any case listed.

In order for a case to appear in the results list, the search criteria must match the case on the First & Last Name fields plus at least one other field - Date of Birth, Driver License, or the Last 4 digits of Social Security number. Our system does not return any cases that match ONLY on the person's name. We also return cases matching on the Driver's License plus either Date or Birth or Last 4 digits of Social Security number.

The "Verified By" column on the results list will indicates which criteria were matched. Our search tool will return minor misspellings in the First & Last names; this is indicated by "SOUNDEX name match" in the Verified By column on the results list.

** NOTE: Results include only Criminal cases in North Carolina. Infractions, which are minor violations, are not provided.

The Case Details we provide are as complete as what the AOC provides you in person if you were to go to the courthouse. This includes trial dates, pleas and verdicts, and any judgments and sentencing. The data we provide on this web site is updated on a daily basis as provided by AOC. This means our reports offer information that is as current as that in AOC's system the previous day.
